Interesting challenge this month for the E caricatures contest - a Star Trek captain we got the chance to choose any, for me I wanted to do the one I grew up with William Shatner as Kirk. Now I know Shatner is a tough cookie because I tried to do him as he was in Boston Legal and abandoned it, this I am reasonably pleased with I wanted to maintain the mood and feel of my reference pic which I think I achieved. Anyhow here it is :)

Very very very frustratingly I have a frozen shoulder, completely out of the blue!

Sat in the chair one day watching tv I get a searing pain in right shoulder and after a week of incredible pain later its still very sore. Moving the mouse and typing are painful enough, drawing and painting out of the question at the moment and useless with my left hand. My kids call it dinasouritis lol you have to laugh - good job I don't have a pile of xmas commisions I would be in trouble!

Anyhow thats why things have slowed on the blog hopefully get back on track soon !

What happened to August well I put the pencils down to take a well earned break in Ibiza (which was fantastic by the way), a couple of days after we came back the wife had an op on her leg and is out of action for 3 months, which means I spend my days looking after a house and five people and somehow the drawing has dropped off !
